We have all experienced a weird thing with social media.

You scroll and see an ad for something you like—let’s say shoes. You like the post or watch it for three seconds…

Now, your Facebook & Instagram are bombarded with ads with similar shoes. Why?

No, Meta is not spying on you, but they track your engagement on their platforms so they can use it to make more money from you.

Today, I’m going to teach you how to follow your potential clients with your ads so you can increase your turnover.

I would say that this is the best method to advertise in this day and age.

Before we dig in, I want you to understand this…

“Is it expensive to follow people with your social media ads?”

Actually, this makes it cheaper because you're gonna get better results from a smaller marketing budget by using this tool wisely.

So let’s increase your turnover and decrease the marketing budget…

How to Retarget Potential Customers

First of all, you need to have active ads.

You can show new ads to:

  • People who visited your website

  • People who engaged with your ad

  • People who interacted with your organic content...

Let’s say that you have a 30-second-long ad.

If people watched the ad until the end, that means they were interested but couldn’t contact you at that moment. Maybe they were busy or had maybe their hamster d*ed—who knows?

So it’s smart to show new ads to these people.

Maybe this time, you will catch their attention when they are more available.

How Can You Retarget These People?

1️⃣ Go into the Meta Ads Manager 🔗

2️⃣ Click here →

3️⃣ Click here

4️⃣ Click this option if you want to retarget people who engaged with your ad…

You can target all sorts of engagement but let’s target people that viewed your ad till the end…

5️⃣ Select the creative of the ad…

6️⃣ Create the audience.

Now, create new ad sets and select the audience you just created.

Before you do all of this, you need to set up the Facebook Pixel. This can be a hassle, to be honest—it takes some Googling but it's worth it.

Now, you will show your ads to the people who are most likely to buy.

You are following your ideal customers with your ads.

Congrats! You are using the best marketing tool ever.

Sincerely,

Halil Bajramoski
